History of Streetwear
The culture of streetwear and urban fashion has not only risen to join the mainstream fashion styles but it has also risen anew, over and over, in the last 30 years. The desire amongst youth culture to have its own style has constantly driven this broad style genre to subdivide and reinvent itself.

Looks
There are so many different looks in street wear. I myself could probably go in my closest and make up 1000s of different looks. It really comes down to what type of person you are and what you like to wear. There are many factors that can determine what look you will turn out with. Looks can be suggest by companies but in the end it's up to you on how you want to look.

The intention of Street wear
When streetwear started to gain popularity it the late 1970s it was intended to be cheap causal clothing as street wear started to get even more popular the price started to climb. Today streetwear is still causal but a lot of it's market it made up of expensive limited stock pieces that people scramble to get. Though you really don't care about these rare items there is plenty of other options. Now to really get down to it street is intended to be a causal clothing you can pretty much wear anyone. Also it can be clothing for comfort. There is no formal aspect to street wear. Street wear started with a cheap and casual intention but has gone to expensive but has stayed causal
