Blog #22 - The importance of costumes and props

There are many prominent names among fans of the genre of fashion and clothing that i have chosen, so i chose some key pieces that the model could wear and try out. They already own these types of clothing, so i will not need to go and shop for these pieces. With the typical target audience of my magazine being those who loves fashion and keeping up with the latest trends i needed to think about the typical things someone would wear.

Something to note is that some fashion magazines may overlap with other genres like rap and sports.
My magazine represents particular social groups through the props and costumes. For props a Gold chain is sometimes used which represents the rap genre. I might also used a snap back to represent social groups, this is because most rap social groups wear these sort of accessories, it shows 'coolness', it makes the males feel superior and dominant to other groups because of what they wear and how they wear it.
