Scholarly

Includes original research articles, written by researchers and experts in a particular academic discipline. Publishes only original research articles that are subjected to a rigorous evaluation through the peer-review process. An editorial board asks subject experts to review and evaluate submitted articles before accepting them for publication in a scholarly journal. Submissions are evaluated using criteria including the excellence, novelty and significance of the research or ideas. Scholarly journals use this process to protect and maintain the quality of material they publish

Trade

Trade journal articles are usually written by members of the profession, journalists, researchers, scholars. The usual Purpose is to provide information relevant to a field/trade and members of a group. The contents of this magazine usually includes industry trends, new products or techniques, organizational news, job listings

Popular

Popular magazine are basically Books and magazine articles written for the general public.They usually provide articles of general information and news of interest, monthly, weekly, or daily publications, and has many photographs and advertisements.

Reflection

These three magazine types relates to each other based on advertisements to direct industries and on its evaluation of content by experts.
